Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Collins, CO seeks weekend RN and LPN clinicians to support our inpatient Detox and Residential programs. You will perform comprehensive medical assessments, manage nursing duties, coordinate care with medical and clinical teams, and help maintain accurate medication logs in a fast-paced, compassionate setting.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program and an active Colorado RN or LPN license; 1 year of behavioral health experience is

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client on admission.
• Perform nursing shift duties: screening, vitals, scheduling labs and chart updates.
• Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense meds and maintain med logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and medication logging for each client.

Now Hiring weekend Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for our inpatient Detox and Residential treatment facility, in Ft. Collins, CO!

What You'll Do

• Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission
• Perform all nursing shift duties (screening, vitals, scheduling appointments and labs, updating charts...)
• Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense meds and maintain med logs
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Ensure impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client

What We're Looking For

• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Current, valid RN or LPN license in Colorado
• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
• Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
• Excellent collaborative, multitasking and time management skills
