Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is hiring day shift LPNs for our detox and residential treatment facility. You will conduct admissions assessments, perform nursing duties, dispense meds, and collaborate with medical and clinical teams to ensure coordinated care.

We seek an LPN with CO licensure, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year post-high school diploma program. Prior treatment experience and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments on admission.
• Perform nursing shift duties: screening, vitals, scheduling, labs, chart updates.
• Dispense meds, manage logs, and address pharmacy needs.
• Coordinate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for seamless care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation and medication records.

Now hiring day shift LPNs for our detox and residential treatment facility, located in Aurora, CO!

What You'll Do

• Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission
• Perform all nursing shift duties (screening, vitals, scheduling appointments and labs, updating charts...)
• Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense meds and maintain med logs
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Ensure impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma/ GED
• Minimum one-year diploma program post-high school
• Current, valid LPN licensure in CO
• 1 year experience in treatment industry preferred
• Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
• Excellent collaborative, multitasking and time management skills
