Job summary

Star Nursery Nevada is seeking yard workers to maintain and stage plant material at the store. Duties include unloading trucks, stocking plants, and caring for plants while upholding safe conditions.

The yard team starts early each morning to be ready for incoming trucks, with training and certification for forklift operation available. Responsibilities also cover loading/unloading, stock labeling, store upkeep, and helping with merchandise movement.

Responsibilities

• Follows operations standards for safe operations, quality control, loss prevention, and plant care.
• Follows policies in operations techniques and materials usage.
• Loading and unloading plant material.
• Operating a forklift.
• Plant maintenance (watering, cleaning, pruning).
• Stocking & Labeling.
• Store upkeep.
• Receiving, Stocking & Moving Merchandise.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
