Job summary

PRT Growing Services Ltd. in Doerun, GA, seeks an Administrative Specialist – Nursery Operations to support site administration, purchasing, and nursery operations. The role balances office tasks with outdoor work, including inventory and shipping support, at the Brownlee seedling nursery.

You’ll report to the Nursery Manager and help keep the site running smoothly by coordinating records, materials, and customer communications, while ensuring accurate data and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail oriented; able to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with AR/AP, data collection and recordkeeping.
• Comfort with outdoor work as part of a production operation.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative functions for the Brownlee site, including safety, logistics, A/R, A/P, data collection, and recordkeeping.
• Support crop inventory and monitoring outdoors, including semi-annual seedling inventories and monthly measurements.
• Order materials and monitor inventory of supplies, chemicals, and consumables.
• Maintain shipping supplies and coordinate packing/shipping activities.
• Assist with shipping and direct communication with customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain seedling and consumable inventory data and improve processes across the site.
• Provide responsive, detail-oriented support to the Nursery Manager and team.
