Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center in Nashville, TN, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions with the management team.

The CNC collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, assists with admissions and discharges, and coaches staff to improve outcomes and engagement, including scheduling support.

Qualifications

• Neonate Resuscitation within 30 days of employment start date.
• STABLE within 30 days of employment start date.
• STABLE Foundations certification.
• RN Licensed Nurse (RN).
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• BCLS/CPR within 30 days of employment start date.
• 2 years Nursery/NICU RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• STABLE must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• STABLE Foundations
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 2 Years of Nursery/NICU RN experience required
