H2ajobs in Texas is seeking nursery labor to plant, water, pot, and maintain plants and trees, and to transfer stock into larger pots as needed. The role includes loading and unloading plants, trees, and shrubs and performing winterization of equipment and irrigation systems.

Experience is not required, and employer housing, meals, and transportation are provided to workers. Lifting up to 50 lbs is expected as part of daily duties.

Manual labor associated with nursery work such as planting, watering, potting, and maintaining plants and trees, bumping plants and trees into larger pots as needed; loading and unloading plants, trees and shrubs; nursery stock winterization of plants and trees; cleaning and maintaining trees and work area. Winter nursery equipment maintenance, winter pruning, winter nursery inventory management, and winterization of irrigation systems. Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Skill Level 1 application.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and space for food preparation, as well as the necessary equipment, appliances including refrigerator, cooking accessories, and sinks with hot and cold water for dishwashing, for workers to prepare their own meals. Employer will provide transportation, at no cost to the workers, to local grocery store on a weekly basis for workers to purchase groceries, supplies, and run other errands as needed.

Transport: The employer agrees to prepay for reasonable costs incurred for travelling by bus, and for daily subsistence (no less than $16.78/day, and no more than $68/day with receipts), from the place from which the worker came to the place of employment.

If the worker completes the work contract period, employer agrees to pay the bus fare and daily subsistence for the worker to return from the place of employment to the place from which the worker came to work.
