Job summary

Lotus Learning Group is seeking nursery aides for a Regional Day School in the Ocean County/Toms River area. The role involves caring for babies from newborn to 2½ years, with hours roughly 8:30am–2:15pm, Monday through Friday, including a ½ hour lunch break.

Starting pay is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience, and fingerprinting is required if hired. Benefits include NJ Sick Hours and optional Retire Ready NJ.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a childcare center setting required.
• Knowledge of childcare center regulations and requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and fellow staff members.
• Reliability is a must.
• High School diploma required; Early Childhood Education background strongly preferred; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nursery aides needed for a Regional Day School for their Childcare/Nursery program in Ocean County/Toms River area.

Super hours for those who need to get their kids from the bus stop on time, have an evening job, and/or at school in the evenings

Nursery aides will take care of babies from newborn age through 2 ½ years old.

Hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 8:30am-2:15pm with a ½ hour unpaid lunch. Will perform routine duties in caring for children, maintain a safe, clean, physical environment, and engage children in age-appropriate activities in a supportive and caring manner.

Competitive hourly rate from $19.00-$21 depending on experience. Part-time position. Must be fingerprinted if hired.
