Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH seeks a Registered Nurse WOC to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound, ostomy, and continence care. The role acts as a consultant, provides direct patient care, and leads staff education. Oversight for the WOC Nursing program includes budget, policy development, and quality improvement.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN with BSN within a year, Florida RN license, and CWOCN certification or equivalent soon after hire. Experience in wound/ostomy is preferred.

Qualifications

• AS Nursing required; BSN expected within 12 months of hire.
• Current Florida RN license required.
• CWOCN or equivalent certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for wound/ostomy/continence patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to deliver specialized care.
• Provide consultation and staff education on wound/ostomy care.
• Assist with policy reviews and committees related to wound care.
• Contribute to research and ensure documentation reflects best practices.
• Coordinate program oversight, budgeting, and quality improvement.
