Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking a Nurse Whole Health Program Coordinator to provide leadership in the Whole Health Program and manage clinical education, coordination of care, and quality improvement across the continuum of care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, supervision of staff, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards and VA policies while promoting veteran-centered care.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by appropriate accrediting agency (ACEN/CCNE).
• State licensed professional nurse with active registration.
• GNT exception allows 120-day temporary appointment while pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific components; leadership in program management.
• Coordinate care within the Nurse Whole Health Program with focus on patient education and self-management.
• Oversee staff education, orientation, competencies, and quality improvement activities.
• Provide professional nursing input in interdisciplinary team discussions and program planning.
