Job summary

Synchrony Pharmacy is seeking a licensed registered nurse to join its travel seasonal vaccination program serving clinics. The role involves preparing and administering vaccines, and providing pharmacological information to healthcare teams and patients across multiple sites.

You will travel as needed, possibly overnight, maintain licensure, comply with laws and infection control, and work in a collaborative, patient‑centered team.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (ADN, Diploma, BSN or MSN) from an NLN-accredited college or university.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Five years’ experience in a pharmacy environment preferred; healthcare/senior living/long-term care preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Key Duties

• Prepares and assists in the administration of vaccines.
• Administers vaccines on behalf of Synchrony Pharmacy.
• Provides pharmacological information, answers questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies.
• Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control protocols.
• Travel including overnight stay as necessary.
• Meets Expectations of Excellence for position.
• Supports campuses, departmental goals and the overall objectives of the Company.
• Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.
• Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach.
• Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing with the State.

Qualifications

Experience

• Five (5) years’ experience in a pharmacy environment preferred. Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred.
• Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
