Job summary

Health Marketing seeks a Head Nurse to oversee patient care, supervise staff, and manage the daily operations of a nursing unit. You will apply the nursing process to make informed decisions, ensure safe, compassionate, patient-centered care, and preserve patient autonomy and dignity across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a related unit or specialty area.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
• Computer literacy required; ACLS training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and review diagnostic data relevant to patient conditions.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify improvement opportunities and implement change.
• Guide staff during life-threatening situations and evaluate intervention outcomes.
• Innovate work processes to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, mentoring, staffing, and performance evaluations.
• Support activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery and communicate effectively with team members.
• Promote lifelong learning and perform additional duties as assigned.
