Job summary

Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Nursing Technician to support patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. The role involves basic nursing tasks, documentation and collaboration with the care team.

A nursing student or RN graduate with eligibility and BLS within 30 days of hire is preferred, with on-site, full-time hours available. We offer competitive pay between $14.80 and $22.18 per hour with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within

Qualifications

• RN student enrolled in a professional nursing program with completed Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and remains enrolled.
• RN graduate who has taken the State board exam and has not yet passed within the first year after graduation; after one year may be demoted to a non-licensed position.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed).

Required qualifications:

• A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment.
