Job summary

Singing River Pascagoula Hospital is seeking a Nurse Technician to provide foundational nursing care under supervision. The role follows a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse and adheres to all hospital policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in an NLN nursing program and will complete required BCLS and de-escalation training within orientation. This role requires adaptability to day or night shifts and hands-on patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in NLN nursing program.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire or transfer.
• Must complete de-escalation training by orientation (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamentals of nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following predefined guidelines and plan of care.
• Assist with basic patient care activities and mobility as directed by the RN staff.
• Adhere to Singing River Health System procedures, policies, and safety guidelines.
