Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Conemaugh Nason Medical Center in Roaring Spring is seeking a Nurse Technician to join the nursing team. The role supports registered nurses, assists with daily patient care, and helps maintain a safe, comfortable hospital environment.

This full-time position offers 3x12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, a sign-on incentive up to $5,000 for eligible candidates, and a pathway to develop hands-on clinical skills in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Interest in providing direct patient care in hospital setting

• Ability to follow instructions and perform patient care duties under supervision

• Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other patient information as directed.
• Assists with positioning, transferring, and transporting patients safely.
• Responds to patient call lights and assists with patient comfort and safety needs.
• Helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
• Observes patients and promptly reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists nursing staff with procedures and other patient care activities within the scope of the role.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to hospital safety standards.
