Mercy Fort Smith invites nursing students to join as Nurse Technician (NT) to gain real-world experience while balancing classes. Under the supervision of an RN/LPN, you assist with patient care and learn hands-on clinical skills in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Eligibility Requirements

• Education:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program

  • Completed Fundamentals of Nursing (transcripts and competency list required)

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required within one month of hire

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly

  • Prolonged standing and walking

  • Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and squat
