Job summary

Aspirus Eagle River Hospital in Eagle River, WI is offering a Nurse Intern Program for student nurses to gain hands-on experience by working one-on-one with an experienced RN during a 10-week paid internship.

Cohorts run in Summer, Fall and Spring with deadlines; opportunities in Med/Surg, ER, OR and Urgent Care.

The program includes 1:1 mentorship, skill-building and a clear path toward your first RN position.

Qualifications

• Completed 3 years in BSN program and/or 2 semesters of ADN program.
• Completed student nurse experience in a clinical setting (minimum 12 hours).
• Completed a pharmacology course.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 experience working with a registered nurse.
• Enhance nursing skills.
• Increase understanding of nursing processes.
• Build critical thinking skills.
