Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Bismarck, North Dakota is seeking a Nurse Tech to support nursing staff in delivering patient care and maintaining standards of practice in a compassionate environment.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and document actions while supporting the RN and the care team. A high school diploma and current nursing program enrollment are required, with eligibility for Nurse Assistant Registry placement and BLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active enrollment in an approved Nursing Program (BSN/ADN or LPN to RN).
• Must be listed on a Nurse Assistant Registry or obtain placement after orientation.
• BLS or BLS instructor certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and assists with daily living activities.
• Prepares patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Documents and reports clinical activities and notifies the RN of changes.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Maintains a clean, stocked work area and contributes to the care plan.
• Participates in quality improvement and ongoing education.
