Qualifications

• 1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred.
• Current LPN licensure from the state of Kansas.
• Basic Life Support certification completed within the first 90 days.

Job description

Under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse, the nurse tech assists the nurses in providing quality patient care and informs the nurse about any significant changes. This includes performing specific interventions as delegated by the registered nurse within the Nurse Tech’s scope of practice and for which they have demonstrated competency to perform.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
• Actively enrolled in and pursuing registered nurse (RN) education and licensure.
• 1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred

REQUIRED REGISTRATION/LICENCE/CERTIFICATION

• Current LPN licensure from the state of Kansas
• Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
