Job summary

Vitruvian Health seeks an ED Secretary/Nurse Tech/Cardiac Technician to support the Emergency Care Department. You’ll handle receptionist tasks, admissions coordination, order entry, and interdepartmental communications to ensure smooth patient flow.

In addition, you will monitor cardiac rhythms, assist licensed nurses, and support Chest Pain Center operations under the Clinical Manager. Relevant training or certification (BLS/CPR) is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or certified equivalent.
• BLS CPR required.
• Prior experience in same or similar position is desirable.
• Monitor Technician training program, or equivalent, and ACC Specialist training preferred.
• Basic typing and comprehension of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to recognize a change in cardiac rhythms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clerical support in the Emergency Care Department, including receptionist duties and order entry.
• Coordinates in-house admissions and interdepartmental communications.
• Monitors cardiac monitoring systems for patients in ED or Chest Pain Center.
• Assists licensed nurses in direct patient care under RN supervision.
