Ochsner Health System is seeking an experienced RN to lead patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and standards. You will delegate and support licensed and ancillary staff, ensure quality outcomes, and respect diverse patient populations in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and a nursing degree with a preference for a bachelor’s in nursing; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and teach patients and families.
• Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary team and delegates tasks.
• Use data to evaluate care and promote changes for better outcomes.
• Protect patient privacy and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as required by the unit.
