Aviata Health Group is seeking an RN Weekend Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care in a family-focused culture. The role centers on weekend supervision with 16-hour Saturday/Sunday shifts and an additional 8-hour weekday wound-care shift.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population.
• Minimum 1 year experience in nursing administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff delivering direct resident care.
• Assist in staff development and implementation of treatment plans.
• Provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans.
• Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Complete comprehensive data collection of residents' medical status on admission and during treatment.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff.
• Monitor adherence to resident record documentation requirements.
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and resolve grievances with families and staff.
• Complete Preceptor Training.
• Develop and implement innovative ideas to improve systems and processes.

Major Responsibilities

Nurse Supervisor (RN)

• Managing the staffing needs and providing supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit.
• Assists in staff development.
• Responsible for providing direct resident care in accordance with established plans.
• Supervises Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Conduct and document a complete data collection of each resident's medical status upon admission and throughout the resident's course of treatment.
• Assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff.

• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff, as needed, to resolve grievances.
• Must complete Preceptor Training.

Qualifications
