Assists team members in the interpretation and application of facility policy. Coordinates the provision of appropriate staffing levels and resources for quality patient care. Makes rounds throughout the facility to assess facility operations and respond effectively to situations that arise. This position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served within Facility. The Nursing Supervisor may work in a variety of settings and roles within Riverside Health System. May perform in RN role by assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients. The Nursing Supervisor utilizes communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to oversee patient care throughout facility based on physiological, psychosocial and cultural diversity. Responsible for supervising and delegating non-professional personnel working directly with him/her to ensure optimum patient care. Works collaboratively with the leadership team to provide a comprehensive range of services for clinical care associated with and in accordance with standards of excellence established by Riverside Health system and facility goals and strategic plans. **What you will do*** Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks to facilitate quality patient care and ensure all patient care needs are met. Able to recognize and respond to emergency situations.* Recognizes and reports variances and provides resolutions.
