Job summary

Tanner Health in Villa Rica, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform nursing functions and supervise other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in delivering nursing care per the state nurse practice act. The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.

Eligible candidates must hold a Georgia RN license, maintain BLS, and complete ACLS/NRP/PALS within required timeframes. Two years of nursing experience are preferred; active participation in clinical ladder

Qualifications

• 2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Qualifications as designated in Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call.
• NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act.
• The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
