Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care and coordinate patient services within our rehabilitation setting. You will supervise staff, implement care programs, and partner with administration to ensure high-quality outcomes for patients throughout their recovery journey.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, staff development, and collaborative leadership in a dynamic inpatient rehab environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BSN certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships by understanding patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
