Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will ensure clinical excellence, mentor staff, and align care with evidence-based protocols to support patient recovery.

The role emphasizes collaboration with administration and multidisciplinary teams, delivering compassionate, tailored care and leading through change in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, provide on-the-spot feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Provide patient care when needed and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories and positive outcomes.
