Qualifications

  • Mentor, train, and present to a large population.
  • Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and electronic patient records.
  • Ability to serve as a patient advocate and coordinate program goals and therapeutic outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and organize the daily care of patients.
  • Make care assignments and assist in developing treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical staff.
  • Direct support staff to coordinate workflow and communicate problems.
  • Monitor the safety and security of individuals and staff by conducting routine rounds.
  • Complete required documentation of nursing notes, transfer forms, and other records.
  • Provide orientation and support to staff on the unit.
  • Recruit, select, onboard, and train employees to ensure role responsibilities and expectations are clearly understood while providing opportunities for professional development.
