Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care and patient programs within a rehabilitation setting. You will coordinate with administration and nursing teams to ensure compliant, compassionate care and staff performance on shifts or units.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, BLS and ACLS in progress, with 2 years of inpatient experience and a Leadership background. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of inpatient hospital experience within the last five years.
• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS to be obtained within one year of starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs and policies.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management and staff.
• Supervise nursing care and services during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor staff performance with on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and build patient relations for recovery.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting the position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
