This collaborative leadership position partners closely with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support evidence-based practice, mentor and develop staff, and drive initiatives that enhance patient care and unit performance.As a Nursing Specialist, you will lead educational and professional practice initiatives, contribute to policy development and implementation, participate in quality improvement projects and root cause analyses (RCAs), and help support both new and experienced nurses in achieving clinical excellence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of critical care experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a Master of Science in Nursing.This 24-hour-per-week position typically consists of three 8-hour shifts and offers significant flexibility, with no regularly scheduled weekends, nights, or holidays. Occasional schedule adjustments may be needed to support staff education and departmental initiatives across shifts.
