• Supervises nursing staff assigned to a shift and assigns patients based on condition and skill.
• Assesses, monitors, and educates staff on patient care; institutes emergency procedures as needed.
• Anticipates staffing needs and moves proactively to cover.
• Oversees stocking of supplies and updates patient records for shift readiness.
