Job summary

Eastgatespring of Cincinnati is seeking a charge nurse leader to provide direct patient care and oversee nurse aides on the unit. The role includes supervising staff, administering medications, and ensuring quality care delivery in a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility.

RN license required with CPR certification. Daily Pay option is available, and evening/weekend shift differentials are offered to reflect experience and licensure.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a current license in the state in which he/she is practicing.
• Maintains Licensure (CE requirements) and CPR certification.
• Desire to work with elderly and enjoy working with residents, staff and families.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-up when patient situations require.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the responsibility for the total patient care within the nursing unit and the management of the unit.
• Provides direct nursing care to the patients
• Carries out administrative and patient care duties as directed by the ADON or DON
• Supervises and assumes responsibility for the actions and care delivered by the nurse associates including monitoring and responding to all policies and procedures
• Administers medication and treatment per physician orders
• Instructs and observes care as implemented per physician/clinician directives
• Assist and direct in the admission/discharge process of patients

Facility is currently looking for Full Time and Part Time Positions. Come join our team as a charge nurse leader at our state of the art, skilled nursing facility. This position provides direct care to the patients in the facility and provides direct oversight to the nurse aides. Ensures and promotes excellent care delivery on the nursing care units. The position ensures the needs of the residents, resident families and nursing aides are met during the care delivery process.

RN Rate of Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 depending on experience and licensure, PLUS On top of those great base rates we offer additional shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts!!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains Licensure (completes CE requirements) and CPR certification
• Has a sincere desire to work with elderly and enjoys working directly with residents, staff and families.
• Possesses good organizational skills and follow-up when patient situations require
