Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Lexington offers a National Nurse Resident position with a November cohort start. This role provides mentorship, real-world nursing experience, and a structured Nurse Residency Program designed to build confidence and clinical judgment from day one.

You’ll work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to administer treatments, monitor vitals, educate patients and families, and support professional growth within a team‑first culture.

Qualifications

• Must have AS nursing and 0–12 months of RN experience at hire.
• Kentucky RN license required at hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required at hire.
• BSN preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers evidence-based patient care using nursing process across lifespan.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to ensure safe, effective care.
