Job summary

Children's of Alabama in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Human Resources Recruiter at the Main Campus Lee Building to attract qualified nursing candidates.

The recruiter will screen applications, interview, negotiate offers, extend offers and coordinate orientation, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, and supporting talent acquisition systems. Occasional travel may be required as part of staffing across departments.

Qualifications

• 2 years staff level, pediatric experience preferred.
• RN licensure in AL or AL multi-state options.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Experience with talent acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

Job description

In Human Resources at Main Campus Lee Building

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Occasional travel required.

Summary:

Responsible for various activities of recruiting, developing, and maintaining systems and resources required to attract qualified Nursing candidates. The recruiter must be able to work independently and perform all recruitment functions including but not limited to: screening applications, interviewing, salary negotiations, extending offers and orientation scheduling.

• Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Problem solves creatively
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
• Experience with talent acquisition systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

• Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
• Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
• Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
