Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center seeks an experienced RN to lead quality and performance improvement initiatives. You will review medical records, enter data, and support dashboards and metrics that drive regulatory readiness and clinical excellence.

You will collaborate with leadership to implement PI projects, prepare for stakeholder meetings, and participate in audits and regulatory visits (AHCA, TJC, etc.).

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; MSN preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in quality & performance improvement activities, teaching & facilitation, data gathering and dashboard presentations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient medical records and enters data accurately.
• Completes medical record reviews timely to meet deadlines and informs Manager of issues.
• Participates in interrater reliability to ensure accuracy.
• Participates in meetings, providing feedback to improve systems and processes.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology in daily work.
• Understands quality management and performance improvement concepts.
• Prepares for meetings by drafting agendas and letters to stakeholders.
• Conducts chart audits to monitor performance and creates dashboards.
• Facilitates performance improvement activities and projects in a PDSA format.
• Works with leadership to execute quality strategies and supports regulatory visits.
