Job summary

The Clinical Nurse Professional Development Educator Advanced at Wellstar Health System works to assess learning needs, design, implement, and evaluate educational activities using the ANPD Practice Model. You will lead a team of educators and partner with clinical managers and interdisciplinary colleagues to promote professional development and improve patient outcomes.

With required RN licensure, a BSN or MSN (preferred), and 5+ years in nursing education, you will advance Wellstar's Nursing

Qualifications

• RN license required upon hire (state or multi-state).
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications within 180 days preferred.
• 5+ years of educator experience in nursing.
• Direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess learning needs and identify outcomes for learners.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs.
• Coordinate and facilitate professional development activities.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams to advance nursing practice and patient outcomes.
• Mentor staff, supports transitions, and aligns with organizational standards.
