UCLA Health's Department of Urology seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional patient care in clinic and via telemedicine. You will review histories, perform exams, formulate treatment plans, manage prescriptions, and educate patients under attending urologists.
You will handle Epic inbasket inquiries, assist with procedures, address prescription issues like prior authorizations, and contribute to post-procedure care in a collaborative academic environment.
The UCLA Department of Urology is looking to fill the role of a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
The NP is expected to provide exemplary patient care consistent with the UCLA Health CICARE Service Excellence. This individual will review medical histories, evaluate patients in clinic and via telemedicine, perform comprehensive physical examination, review laboratory and imaging results, formulate treatment plans, manage prescriptions, and provide patient education.
The NP will manage clinical questions by telephone and Epic inbasket, perform procedures as needed, manage clinical issues that arise following procedures and surgeries, address prescription-related issues such as prior authorization, and carry out related tasks for the UCLA Department of Urology under the supervision of the attending urologists.
Salary range: $93.81- $133.97/hourly
