Matrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to perform one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Westminster, CO. This full-time role includes a salaried position with bi-weekly pay.
The NP must hold an active NP license, have a master’s degree in nursing, and BLS certification. On-site work, vaccination per guidelines, and potential VA exam experience are noted as assets.
Qualifications
- Active NP license required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or approved NP program.
- Active BLS certification.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills.
- On-site staff must be vaccinated per CDC/state guidelines.
- Prior VA compensation exam experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review medical history and conduct one-time, non-treatment VA disability exams.
- Document responses via web-based forms; submit to VA for disability determinations.
- Perform standard exams (musculoskeletal, cardio, respiratory).
- Order ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) as needed on-site or nearby.
