NeueHealth’s Centrum Health Westheimer Clinic in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality, value-based primary care in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care, order tests, and use EHR tools to ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner and RN licenses in Texas.
• Board certification as NP in the specialty preferred.
• National NP certification from an accredited agency.
• Master’s in nursing required, Doctorate preferred.
• Two or more years of clinical NP experience in a physician practice or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality of all patient records.
• Checks in with clients about test results and prognoses.
• Advises patients regarding prescriptions and treatment plans.
• Follows all federal, state, and nursing guidelines, regulations, and standards.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests including X-rays, blood work, and scans.
• Refs patients to specialists and analyzes medical records.
• Updates patient charts and uploads to EHR systems.
• Works with a team of NPs, RNs, and doctors to provide quality care.
• Examines patients, discusses history and symptoms, and performs physicals.
• Uses medical database, research, diagnosis, billing, and scheduling software.
