Job summary

Virginia Urology in Richmond seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient urology care across multiple offices and hospitals. You will take histories, perform exams, develop treatment plans, and participate in procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• ANP-BC certification required by ANCC.
• Virginia Nurse Practitioner licensure.
• Valid DEA license; ACLS and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Take appropriate patient history and perform physical exams in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Communicate treatment plans and records to supervising physician.
• Assist in procedures including catheterization, injections, and drainage.
• Provide follow-up care and discharge planning.
• Answer hospital consults and coordinate referrals.
