Job summary

WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide quality care at urgent care locations in North Denver. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses, order tests, and prescribe medications within Colorado regulations.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document in electronic health records, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Nurse Practitioner license.
• ANCC or AANP certification.
• Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with common acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide patient care.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
