The Locums Company, LLC is seeking a Physician (Contract/1099/Independent Contractor) to provide medical care at the Wellness Clinic Youth Center in South Bronx, NY. The role is on-site, part-time with a flexible schedule and competitive hourly compensation.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida medical license and a DEA registration, with experience in adolescent medicine and collaborative practice with other medical staff.

Formación

• Active and unrestricted state medical license in Florida.
• Experience providing care to adolescent patients, including procedures and prescriptions.
• Valid Federal DEA license.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work 5 hours per week as needed.
• Prior locums physician experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary and acute care to student patients at the Wellness Clinic Youth Center.
• Manage standard conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits, and school physicals.
• Collaborate with the center's medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as needed.

Job Description:

Role Description:

This is a contract role for a Locums Physician with The Locums Company, LLC in South Bronx, NY. The Locums Physician will work on-site and provide medical care to student patients in accordance with their medical specialty and expertise. Job Requirement:

• Active and unrestricted state medical license in Florida


• Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications
