Job summary
CMR Recruiting in Michigan is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve as the primary care provider for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Wayne, MI. This full-time, in-person position runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no on-call and no weekends.
The NP will manage a panel of long-term care and short-stay residents, with focus on chronic disease management, acute changes, and coordination with nursing and therapy teams, while maintaining compliance and thorough documentation.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Michigan NP license in good standing.
- Active DEA registration.
- Board certification as FNP/AGNP/AGPCNP.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to residents, including exams and medication management.
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute conditions within NP scope.
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests, adjust care plans.
- Collaborate with facility nursing staff, therapy, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
