Qualifications

• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Nursing home experience preferred or desired.

Responsibilities

• Assuring delivery of quality care services to all patients in a respectful and professional manner.
• Assessing patient health by interviewing patients and performing examinations.
• Documenting patient care services by charting in records.
• Providing therapeutic procedures including injections, suturing and wound care.
• Counseling patients on treatment regimens and wellness strategies.
• Developing and implementing patient management plans for continuity of care.
• Maintaining a safe, clean working environment and infection-control practices.
• Staying compliant with laws and professional requirements through ongoing education.
