Job summary

Prenuvo is hiring a remote Nurse Practitioner to review imaging and laboratory results with patients by phone and video and to agree on next steps. You will work with our full-time NP team in scheduled consult blocks, following clinical and documentation standards.

Applicants must hold an active NP license (10+ licenses), national board certification (FNP/AGNP/ANP), and a compact state license. 2+ years of NP practice and comfort with telehealth are required; experience with imaging

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license; national board cert (FNP/AGNP/ANP); compact license required to practice in additional states.
• 2+ years of NP clinical work, preferably in primary care/internal medicine/preventive medicine.
• Ability to explain complex clinical findings clearly and deliver care by phone/video.
• Strong documentation in an electronic health record and commitment to patient privacy.
• Experience with imaging interpretation in a clinical context preferred.
• Experience in preventive or longevity medicine and remote clinical work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct results review consultations by phone/video, explaining imaging and labs.
• Prepare for each consult by reviewing reports, intake, history, and prior scans.
• Identify care gaps and recommend next steps, including referrals and follow-up imaging.
• Escalate urgent findings to Radiology/Preventive Medicine physicians per protocol.
• Coordinate with care coordinators and nurse navigators for referrals and follow-ups.
• Document encounters to HealthCloud and provide a patient-accessible care plan.
• Honor committed consult blocks and provide scheduling updates.
• Participate in QA reviews and onboarding/training.
• Maintain active and credentialed licensure across assigned states.

Prenuvo is building a longitudinal care model, where patients have an ongoing clinical relationship rather than a single scan. Our nurse practitioners are the clinicians patients talk to after their scan.

You will review imaging and laboratory results with patients by phone and video, explain what the findings mean, and agree on the right next step together. You will work scheduled consult blocks alongside our full-time nurse practitioner team, to the same clinical and documentation standards.

This is a remote contract role, and it reports to a Nurse Practitioner Manager. This is a 3-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Conduct results review consultations by phone and video, reviewing imaging and laboratory results and explaining what they mean
• Prepare for each consult by reviewing the patient's report, intake, history and prior scans
• Identify care gaps and recommend next steps, including follow-up imaging, referrals and the interval to the next scan
• Follow established protocols for actionable findings, and upscale urgent findings to Radiology and Preventive Medicine physicians through the defined escalation pathway
• Work with care coordinators and registered nurse navigators on follow-up and referral loop closure
• Document every encounter to clinical standard in HealthCloud, including a care plan the patient can access
• Work the consult blocks you commit to, and give advance notice of schedule changes
• Participate in quality reviews and complete required onboarding and protocol training
• Maintain active licensure and credentialing in assigned states

What You'll bring

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (minimum of 10 licenses) and national board certification (FNP, AGNP or ANP) , with the ability to obtain licensure in additional states as required; compact state nursing license required
• Two or more years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care, internal medicine, preventive medicine or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex clinical findings clearly and without alarming patients
• Comfortable delivering care by phone and video
• Strong documentation practice and comfort working in an electronic health record
• Strong commitment to patient privacy and the handling of protected health information
• Experience with imaging interpretation in a clinical context preferred
• Experience in preventive or longevity medicine preferred
• Experience working remotely in a clinical role preferred
