Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania seeks a highly qualified clinician to provide reproductive and sexual health services at the Bridgeville clinic. You will perform physical exams, take medical histories and counsel patients across gender spectrums, in alignment with PPWP standards.

Requires PA licensure as a certified nurse practitioner or nurse midwife, prescriptive authority, and DEA license. Travel to PPWP centers may be needed; schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with some evenings and

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in a cooperative manner with clients, health center staff and supervisors.
• Ability to use patient centered communication to develop rapport with patients and provide equitable and judgement free care.
• Willingness to discuss sexuality, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, and pregnancy options.
• Must be licensed in PA as a certified registered nurse practitioner or certified nurse midwife; prescriptive authority and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provides reproductive and sexual health services to patients per PPFA guidelines.
• Collaborates with Laboratory Director to ensure accurate test methods and results.
• Oversees quality control and proper labeling of laboratory materials.
• Coordinates training of testing personnel and evaluates lab performance.
• Interprets lab tests and orders follow-up tests as needed.
• Supports administrative tasks like medical abortion follow up and telemedicine services.
