The role requires RN licensure in Illinois, completion of an NP program, and clinic nursing experience. Shift includes days with nights, weekends, and holidays availability; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from accredited nursing program and RN licensed in Illinois.
  • Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Three years of professional nursing in a clinic setting.
  • ANA Certification and ability to apply nursing standards.
  • Strong skills in documentation, patient history taking and safety.

Summary

Provides primary care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic following established standards and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, physicians and the public.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide on-going patient care.
  • Skill in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings.
  • Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
Education/Experience/License
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Three years professional nursing experience in a clinic setting.
  • Currently licensed in the state of Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
  • ANA Certification.
Work Shift Details
  • Days - First Shift.
  • Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

Expected Pay

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $67.26 - $67.26 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
