Job summary

Upper Great Lakes Family Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver quality health care services focused on assessing and treating mental health needs, including medication management for patients with mental health disorders or substance use issues. The NP will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under physician supervision.

This practice offers paid malpractice with FTCA tail coverage, $2,500 CME annually, 184 hours of PTO based on full-time status, paid holidays,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited psychiatric nurse practitioner training program.
• State of Michigan unrestricted RN and NP specialty certification.
• Possess current DEA and related certifications.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality health care services focused on assessing and treating mental health needs.
• Provide medication management for patients with mental health disorders or substance use issues.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary health care team under physician supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA CFR 42 Part 2.

Job Qualifications:

• Possess current DEA and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Michigan.
• Evidence of basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Experience maintaining confidential information and adherence to HIPAA and CFR 42 Part 2.
• Two years relevant experience, preferred.
