Altea Healthcare in New Port Richey, FL is seeking a Certified NP for a part-time role in a busy skilled nursing facility. You will diagnose, treat, and guide patients to better health as a key clinical provider. The schedule includes weekday and weekend shifts to support post-acute care.

We welcome both experienced providers and new grads, with NP license (or eligibility) and DEA registration. Training, mentorship, and ongoing education are offered to help you thrive.

Formación

• Licensed NP with current Florida credentials.
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
• All experience levels welcome; training and mentorship provided.
• Strong interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care.

Responsabilidades

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.

What You'll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
