Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide outpatient medical services under physician supervision.

The role includes assessment, treatment, counseling, and referrals with opportunities for virtual care and teaching responsibilities. You will work a M-F schedule with occasional evening shifts and on-call duties, enabling collaboration with a broad care team while focusing on patient-centered,

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible or board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current license in PA or NJ, as determined by job location.
• New grads are encouraged to apply; one year of experience in a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, counsel, and educate patients and families.
• Perform physical exams and update medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Provide virtual care services via St. Luke’s platform when appropriate.
• Maintain medical records documentation for billing and quality improvement.
• Participate in teaching students and residents where assigned.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and research.
