Qualifications

• Graduate or higher-level degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted nursing license in the U.S.
• Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) licensure in the required clinical specialty.
• Must pass NCLEX and meet licensure requirements for practice.
• Background investigation and compliance with federal requirements are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostics to form diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans based on standards of care and guidelines.
• Diagnose or treat acute health problems and manage ongoing care.
• Prescribe medications based on safety and efficacy considerations.
• Educate patients about self-management of illnesses with individualized instructions.
