Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Middleton, ID, is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for urgent care serving a growing community. You will work under a supervising physician, provide urgent care services, and help manage a high-acuity patient mix.

Open schedule, full-time 1.0 FTE; opportunities to grow, EPIC EMR experience preferred, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Relocation support may be available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Idaho Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
• DEA registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and US DEA.
• Preference for ED/urgent care experience.
• Experience using EPIC EMR is desirable.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Overview

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 800+ clinician multispecialty group practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant committed to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care in an urgent care setting. We are seeking multiple advanced practice providers to join a group of clinicians serving the rapidly expanding Middleton community. Upon opening, the provider will practice in a co-located family medicine and urgent care setting designed to support a growing team of primary care and urgent care clinicians, with urgent care services available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Under the direction of a supervising physician, advanced practice providers will deliver urgent care services to the patients the clinic serves. The clinician will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and will request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other healthcare resources as indicated. The qualified candidate must be enthusiastic about family health issues and demonstrate comprehensive assessment skills, strong clinical judgment, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

The qualified candidate will exude passion about health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities. SAMG utilizes EPIC (EHR/EMR) in its clinics. Thus, experience with EHR is desirable.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• A strong medical background in Emergency Department or high acuity Urgent Care is preferred
